Terms and Conditions

We hope that we have made purchasing as easy as possible. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on Checkout.

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. By using and purchasing from this website you are agreeing to abide by the terms and conditions set out below. We reserve the right to alter or update these terms and conditions at any time.

Delivery

Please allow 14 days for delivery, though, with many stock items we aim to deliver within 5 working days. We do not deliver on Saturdays unless by special request. There will be a carriage charge for Saturday delivery. If any of your order is not available within 14 days we can 'back order' it for you, you will be contacted with the option to cancel if you wish. All goods are sold subject to availability.

Carriage

Delivery is free to mainland U.K. destinations for orders over £50.00. Carriage to mainland U.K. destinations will be by carrier at a charge of £5.95 for orders UP TO £50.00. If you need your order urgently contact us by telephone before placing your order.

We also can deliver to the Isle of Wight, Isle of Man and to the Scottish islands but there will be a shipping cost of £18.00. Deliveries to Eire will incur a carriage cost of £18.00. Deliveries to Northern Ireland will incur a carriage cost of £18.00 Please contact us by telephone to place your order for these destinations. We do not normally deliver to other destinations.

Please check your order as soon as possible after delivery. If any item you receive is damaged or your order is not complete, we must be informed by email within 48 hours. We will refuse any claim, either for short order or damage if we are not informed within this timescale.

Our carriers will make all possible efforts to deliver your order without a problem occurring. If however, in the unlikely event that they are not able to deliver to the specified address, the carrier will leave a card, it may be necessary that you pick up your order from the local depot. If an order is returned to us by the carrier because you have failed to collect the order. You will be required to bear the second delivery cost.

Payment

Payment can only be made by Debit/Credit Card, Paypal and Cheque.

Returns

Email us to say that you wish to return your order. You will then be issued with a returns authorisation number. Do not return any item to us without being issued with a returns authorisation number. The item must be returned to us within 7 days. The item should have not been installed or modified and must be in its original packaging. The Item must be in a resaleable condition. Labels or addressing should be put only on external packaging and not on the item packaging. We advise that you return any goods by recorded Royal Mail and are insured against breakage as we will not accept any liability for items damaged in transit that are returned to us. Unless an item proves to have a manufacturing fault, we will not bear the carriage cost of any items returned to us. Items should be returned to the address at the bottom of this page. We will reimburse the reasonable carriage costs of an item returned to us which proves to have a manufacturing fault. This cost should never exceed £12 and will not be reimbursed without the provision of the receipt. Items will not be replaced or refunded before the faulty item has been checked by our technicians. Any item modified by us for you, such as the addition of extra chain, is nonreturnable.

Light bulbs are not covered by warranty, this includes light bulbs supplied with light fittings. If a light bulb included with a light fitting is faulty we do not deem the light fitting to be faulty goods and the fitting cannot be returned as a faulty item. Light bulbs that arrive damaged or missing will be replaced only at our discretion.

Installation

We advise that the products be installed by a qualified Electrician. Liability will not be accepted for the improper installation of our products. Products must only be installed in locations and environments designated as suitable by the manufacturer.

Privacy

It is always our intention to protect your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect lawfully (in accordance with the data protection act 1998). Information is collected only in order to process your order.
